Each Interstellar Medium entry links to the best recent posts to be found in the Free Software blog space. Entries linked from Interstellar Medium must:
- be written by a member of the Free Software community (as opposed to a media employee or technology commentator from outside the community);
- be a weblog entry (usually) or a publicly archived mailing list post (occasionally), rather than a news article, software documention, HOWTO guide or similar;
- not be hosted on a site that blocks or refuses permission for external linking (we hope sanity prevails here);
- be in the English language.
We aim to link to the best weblog entries each week that are about the process of developing Free Software and the Free Software community, rather than news from Free Software projects, or events from Free Software developers’ personal lives.
We break rules for anything sufficiently interesting.
